We welcome all NZ Tea Party supporters  and those undecided whom want to join the Party The NZ Tea Party is NOT your old traditional party,  it's an evolutionary taxpayer movement If you feel the entrenched political parties are "pulling the wool"  and NOT truly listening to the New Zealand taxpayer, then JOIN for real change that puts control back into your hands Past & present governments if not addicted are suffering from DDD Deb't n Deficit Disorder Ask yourself, why doesn't the DMO "OPEN THE BOOKS" three monthly, and show taxpayer's where NZ Inc. money is going,  we all know WHY >> They are terrified we'll know the truth What's wrong with a (plain english) quarterly govt online financial health report publication NO taxpayer funded (foreign aid) considerations whilst the government books are in deficit All (foreign aid considerations) should be (privately funded) unless the books are in surplus Past governments favoured BORROW and BURN mode; We MUST change to SAVE and EARN We can head down the GREEK road OR come to our senses and chart a cource to prosperity Taxpayer owned New Zealand Inc. currently are borrowing 1-billion/mth. just to tread water The government needs to change tack quicker, and implement Taxpayer Tea Party principles Tax isn't complicated, unless politicians make it that way - convoluted tax creates confusion Taxpayers and business need simple clear low-taxes which offer certainty and create growth Kiwis whom think we are undertaxed, need a "short sharp jolt" into the real world of politics Personal & business tax - GST - EQC levy - rates - petrol - vehicle licence - r the main taxes Borrowing & over spending create debt,  the way out is with business enterprise and growth The NZ Tea Party core election platform is based upon a (Fair Flat Tax)  and cut in spending High tax rates enable government waste fraud self-entitlement and our bloated bureaucracy Low tax encourages economic growth by putting more money into taxpayers hands, not govt

The NZ Tea Party (20/20 flat tax) proposal is fair and equitable for all New Zealanders The tax system is bureaucratic and convoluted. We propose a "fiscally prudent" 20/25 flat-tax for ALL KIWIS The personal rate would be 20% & business rate would be 25%. Lowering taxes encourages growth and jobs With a business flat-tax at 25% NZTP want the minimum wage at $15. These measures will assist job creation NZTP opt-in option - Contribution Gold Tax - for "affluent" taxpayers Our revolutionary new voluntary TAXPAYER OPT-IN Contributory Gold Tax is for those of higher financial means Those whom OPT-IN to the new (C.G.T.) can then nominate any particular rate they want deducted over 20% Compassionate Kiwi's including some affluent superannuants & (politicians) would glady OPT-IN & pay more tax How often do "socialists" and some (politicians in the house) CLAIM that;  "RICH KIWI'S" need to pay more tax Compulsion irk's, compassion works - this is the Goff Tax as he often cried out in the house, rich pay more tax

To complement NZTP tax proposals (WE MUST CUT) our addictive institutional spending Over many decades some parties were trapped on the treadmill, borrowing & spending money we did not have Kiwis must now face reality, our past fiscal management will cause pain, we cannot continue on a deficit road The Tea Party policy for future "fiscal viability" spending will, in the main, be based upon Cut Cap and Balance We need a (New Ministry) to alleviate waste fraud & incompetence, with line by line cost cutting of spending Unfortunately over decades political parties have to some extent fleeced taxpayers with bloated entitlements Cost cutting measures include, an "independent body" to review politician’s salaries entitlements and pensions

The Labour party's proposed new TAX PLAN is built around their AGE OLD PHILOSOPHY being TAX & SPEND. It did not work before in the 9 years they were in government, and it won’t work now. It is extremely convoluted (bureaucratically HEAVY) and totally anti-business growth. Why PENALISE productive Kiwis whom have got off their "chuffs" worked hard and achieved. They should be rewarded for entrepreneurship with less tax not more Labour can’t understand that more tax means less private sector growth & more unemployment. That policy of OLD STYLE SOCIALISM; has proved to be the undoing of many first world countries. Kiwis can see through the smoke and mirrors approach being presented and won’t be trapped into that web, being anti-taxpayer & deceit

We must encourge & support creative Kiwi entrepreneurs with technological business ideas and provide a level (flat-tax) playing field. We need to also re-evaluate the tax-free zones The current tax-free status applicable to some NPO & religious organisations needs review
